WELCOME LIGHTNING RC RACERS
As some of you may have heard Quarterscale Motorsports did buy out the Lightning brand of Quarter Scale cars.
It has taken longer than we anticipated being in a position to build cars in a timely manner and have parts on hand
for immediate delivery however we are now there.

Summer Thunder 2008 Race #1
This was the first race in the “Summer Thunder” five race series for Quarter Scale Sportsman Stock Cars. There was some terrific racing with Dennis Andrews coming out on top in the main event thus making him the point leader in the series. It wasn’t a cake walk for Dennis because just prior to the heat races his engine would not start and he had to replace it. He pulled a spare from his bottom drawer and he was fast. The next time I need an engine I’m going to get one from his bottom drawer.
Hey guys!! We need more racers for this series. We need a minimum of 20 cars in order to open the track. Please keep in mind you are not being ask to do anything to run the race as it is all being done by paid personnel.. All you have to do is show up, race your car, have fun and go home to your family.
We have one of the finest facilities we have ever had to race at so let’s use it.
The next Quarter Scale race is scheduled for May 10th. This will be on the Dirt Oval. We have brought in six dump truck loads of very good clay. We are looking forward to some exciting Sprint Car and Late Model Dirt Car racing.
